“DIWALI UTSAV”
ORGANIZED AT SUBHARTI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING, SVSU, MEERUT
Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across India. The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’. The Subharti Institute of Technology and Engineering College celebrated DIWALI UTSAV on 29-10-2021 which went in synch with the Institute motto which is to provide a platform for all the students to showcase their talents and prepare them to light the future. On the auspicious festival of Diwali, our students luminated the campus through the creation of dazzling rangolis, the picturesque painting of diyas, along with various fun games which indulged students in the true festive atmosphere. Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Students establish theirs stalls of different games, nail art, food with zeal.
Both Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly where presence of hon’ble CEO of the University, Dr. Shalya Raj boosted everyone’s festive spirit.The “UTSAV” was loud enough with the sounds of gossips, giggles, applauds and the ‘chunk’ & ‘cluck’ of camera. Dr. Manoj Kapil, Principal, SITE, SVSU made her presence felt by wishing all the students and Mentors a joyous Diwali. The day came to an end with lots of joy and happiness sparkling on the faces of every participant and praised the event organizing team Er. Ashima, Er. Anubha, Dr. Archita Bhatnagar, Er.
