REPORT- Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a free legal aid door to door campaign at village Khera Balrampur, Partapur, Meerut in the association of District Legal Service Authority, Meerut, under the direction of Justice Rajesh Chandra (Former Judge, Prayagraj High Court, UP) director Subharti Law College and in the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean, Faculty of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut to celebrate the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” which is having the aim to spread out the legal awareness at the doorstep of every citizen of India, without any discrimination.
Dr. Ashutosh Garg and Shalini Goel along with the students of Subharti law College reached to Khera Balrampur, Partapur, Meerut, where Deepak, resident of
Khera Balrampur received the team. Dr. Ashutosh Garg divided the students into five teams of 5 students to survey the village.
From the residence of Deepak, Smt. Anju Kamboj Secretary DLSA, Radhey Shyam, Naib Tahsidaar, Sadar Tahsil, Meerut along with the faculty members and the students of Subharti Law College reached Composite School of Kheda Balrampur, where all the welcomed by Jayveer Singh, Principal of Composite School. Secretary DLSA, addressed the audiences including the “Asha” workers and “Aanganbadi” workers and the students of Composite School of Khera Balrampur. In her address, she told the audience about the importance of free legal aid that every citizen of India must be aware of his fundamental as well as legal rights.
A special legal awareness program from 02-10-2021 to 14-11-2021is was conducted by the National Legal Service Authority and State Legal Service Authority, Uttar Pradesh, to fulfill the objectives of various schemes run by the Central Government as well as State Government for the welfare of marginalized section of the
