Department of Animation Organizes Successful Visit to Comic Con Delhi
On 5th December 2025, the Department of Animation, Faculty of Fine Arts, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized an exciting and engaging educational visit to Comic Con India, offering students a unique opportunity to experience the world of pop culture, comics, gaming, animation, and cosplay firsthand.
The visit proved highly impactful, allowing students to explore the vibrant atmosphere of Comic Con, interact with creators, and attend live panel discussions, workshops, and demonstrations. Students also explored exclusive merchandise stalls and observed the latest trends in animation, character design, digital storytelling, graphic art, and emerging media.
In addition to exhibits and learning activities, various companies, including Android, Intel, and Maruti Suzuki & Many More hosted interactive games and creative engagement zones where our students actively participated and proudly emerged as winners in multiple challenges. These industry-led activities provided students with hands-on exposure to real-time audience engagement, product-based gaming experiences, and competitive creative environments.
The event offered a perfect blend of creativity, entertainment, and academic exposure, enriching students’ understanding of the rapidly evolving animation and digital art industry.
The trip received an enthusiastic response from students, who appreciated the opportunity to connect with a wider creative community outside the classroom environment. Such initiatives reinforce the department’s commitment to fostering experiential learning, industry exposure, and creative exploration.
The students were accompanied and guided by Dr. Vidhi Khandelwal (HOD Animation), Ms. Tamanna, and Mr. Lakshey, who encouraged them to engage with exhibits, ask questions, and participate in discussions, further enhancing the overall learning experience.
