Educational Visit to Abha Manav Mandir Old Age Home
On 03 September 2026, the students of B.Sc. Nursing 7th Semester, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, visited Abha Manav Mandir Old Age Home, Ganganagar, Meerut, as part of their educational visit. Approximately 63 students participated in the visit. During the visit, the students interacted with the elderly residents and spent quality time with them, which helped them understand the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of older adults. As a gesture of love, care, and social responsibility, the students distributed fresh fruits and essential daily-use items among the residents. The visit provided the students with valuable practical exposure to geriatric care and helped them develop empathy, compassion, effective communication, and respect towards the elderly. Overall, the visit was a meaningful and enriching experience that emphasized the importance of holistic care and emotional support for older adults.
