Essay Competition
Literary Club, Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, organizes an Essay Competition on the topic “Indian Philosophies: Similarities and Contrast with Western/Chinese Philosophy” under the patronage of Hon’ble Director, Subharti Law College, Justice Rajesh Chandra and Respected Dean, Dr. Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya. . The notice of the event was circulated on 25.7.2023 by the Literary Club. The event was organized for all the students of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
The last date to submit the essay was 19.8.2023. A total of 15 entries were received as against the call for the Essay Competition. The judge of the competition was Dr. Rafat Khanam, Associate Professor, Department of Languages, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. The Essays were judged on the basis of Originality, Grammar, coherence and Understanding of the Topic. The results were announced on 26.
8.2023 and the prize distribution session was presided by Dr. Abhay Shankar Gowda, Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University and Prof. Dr. Vaibhav GoelBhartiya, Hon’ble Dean, faculty of Law, along with respected jury i.e. Dr. Rafat Khanam, Associate Professor, Department of Languages. The winners were awarded with Certificates and Chocolates and all participants were given Certificates of appreciation.
Dr. Abhay Shankar Gowda, Hon’ble, Pro-Vice Chancellor, encouraged the students with his words of wisdom and also highlighted the importance of Indian Philosophy. Dr. Rafat Khanam shared her feedback regarding the competition and motivated the participants to do better in their future endeavors. The program was anchored by Ms. Ana Sisodia, Convener, and Literary Club. The event ended by a vote of thanks.
