Under National Health Mission, An EVM (Effective vaccine Management) assessment was planned in Uttar Pradesh from 11to 22 October 2022 in Lucknow. It included an initial training of assessors from 11to 15 Oct 2022 at Lucknow UP with technical support of UNICEF, followed by field visits for data collection from 17 to 21/22 October 2022.
30 trained teams of accessors covered the allocated districts across the state.
Dr Bhawana Pant, Head of Deptt. of Community Medicine, Subharti Medical College Meerut, and Dr. Javvad Suri, Immunization Consultant of WHO paid a visit to the District Vaccine Store in Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Gautam Buddha Nagar. They were accompanied by the District Immunization Officer and a representative of the United Nation Development Program (UNDP) during the visit.
