FAREWELL PARTY CEREMONY-2024
“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rainfall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.”
With these emotions students of BA.LLB. IV year (Batch 2020) and LL.M. I Year (Batch 2023) of Subharti Law College organized a farewell party on 09 May, 20 in the college Auditorium to bid farewell to their seniors of final year (BA.LL.B Batch 2019 and LL.M. Batch 2022) with great enthusiasm & many happy memories. Prof.(Dr.) Pradeep Bharti Gupta, Dean, Subharti Medical College, Justice Rajesh Chandra, (Former Judge, Allahabad High Court, UP) Director Subharti Law College, and Prof (Dr.) Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean, Subharti Law College, & Faculty members were welcomed by putting teeka of roli on their foreheads in traditional Indian way and with a token of love and respect. All the luminaries of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, were welcomed by presenting a sapling under the campaign of environmental protection and felicitated with Memento. The program started by Ms. Gracy Singh and Mr. Paramjeet Hudda, of B.A.LL.B. IV Year, anchors, of the programme and the programme was followed by the Saraswati Pooja and Lamp Lightening before Goddess Saraswati by the Dignitaries.
Major General Dr. G. K. Thapliyal, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, addressed the audience with his kind words on the importance of university life and this journey. He blessed the students for their future endeavors. He said that whatever you would do in your life should be of that type, by which your parents, your College and your University could be proud of you, as it is the last day of your University/College life. A world waits for you with its beauty. While congratulating the students on completion of their studies Dr. Shalya Raj, Hon’ble CEO of University said that you are the one who possesses the power to change the world. In addition, when you would be at the highest rank of your career then you would forget what you have suffered in the past. Always remember that a diamond can only be made out of coal when it survives all the pressure and heat in its life.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Bharti Gupta, Dean, Subharti Medical College said that study of medical and Law both demand regular study. However, in medical new medicines and research it took at least 6 months to add something new but law is that field in which you have to regularly study the judgments passed by any of the High Court of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Law changes every day and if you do not work hard. Further, he said that, “If you do not work hard and keep yourself updated, you will be separated from the mainstream. Give your best, because the sky is yours. Justice Rajesh Chandra ji, director, Subharti Law College gave his blessing to the students of BA.LL.B. V year and LL.M. II year for their bright future. He said that to achieve success , work hard and be polite. Today, I take immense pride in saying that we are highly proud of your achievements and accomplishments that you have established over these years. Our students enjoy good fame across the city, as they are good not only in studies but also in sports. You have to make yourself, your family and your college and university proud. Prof. (Dr)Vaibhav Goel Bhartiya, Dean & Principal of Subharti Law College, when addressing the august gathering said that today, as we bid goodbye to the batch of 2018 (BA.LL.B.) & 2021(LL.M.) the journey we have shared since the last 3 years has been no less than a roller coaster rides. With the changes in the teaching mode (online/offline), the inter college competitions, the international assignments, the word ‘boring,’ nowhere fits in the picture. But your dedication and hard work made this journey an insightful one. I wish each one of you a beautiful life ahead. I believe that if they ever face any tough circumstance in the path ahead where life tries to take them down, they will look back to the learnings they have gathered from their time spent here. I wish that wherever you go, the Subharti Law College would always remain with you in your memories. I hope that one-day when you look back, you will feel proud of the lessons, experiences and the people you found here. Always keep up the dedication and sincerity. Always strive to be the best in whatever you do. Be humble and let your actions speak for you. God bless you with success and glory, with these words Prof. (Dr.) Reena Bishnoi, gave a formal vote of thanks to all. Students were energetic & enthusiastic emcees of the show. Programme proceeded with songs, dance performances and to make the programme more entertaining & engaging game sessions specially designed for seniors. Himanshu panwar, Md.Tanzeel Sumit Sharma, Anil Kishore Aditi Arya, Anjuri and Anamika shared their experiences. Tongue twisters draw smiles on everyone’s faces. A beautiful day marked with both happiness & sorrow & lots of love and followed by lunch.
Kasturi Arya, Kasak Sirohi, Ankita Rohilya, Anshika Pal, Kajal Sehrawat, Deeksha Bhardwaj students of BA.LL.B. participated actively in various cultural activities. During the program Prof. (Dr.) Sartaj Ahamad, Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Dr. Rafat Khanam, Dr. Seema Sharma, Dr. Prem Chandra, Afreen Almas, Vikas Tyagi, Ana Sisodia, Ajayraj Singh, Sonal Jain, Arshad Alam and Ashutosh Deshwal were present. Non-teaching staff of Subharti Law College made all their best efforts for the success of this event. Syad Mehdi Hydar Zaidi, Deeksha Bhardwaj, Mansi Yadav, Shivam Sharma, Manik Pahuja, Md. Uvais, Kajal Kumari, Yashika, and Priyanshi organized the event, without their special efforts, this program could not take its shape.
