Fit India Walk and Race by NSS
This Fit India Race was inaugurated by the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Aaran by showing the green flag. On this occasion, the Program Coordinator of National Service Scheme (NSS), Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Chandra Thaledi welcomed the Chief Guest by making him wear the NSS cap. After this, the NSS volunteers reached INA Chowk located at Kargil Shaheed Upvan via the main road of the university campus. During this, the volunteers ran with slogans of Fit India-Hit India and Desh Bhakti along with slogans spreading awareness about health.
Before the start of this walk, Prof. Aaran addressed the NSS volunteers and said that in today’s fast-paced life, everyone needs to stay healthy so that our country remains healthy. He told the volunteers to be health conscious regularly and give an important place to sports and yoga in life. He said that sports and daily yoga practice are necessary for physical fitness. During this, Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Aaran also praised the enthusiasm and interest of the NSS volunteers.
At the end of the race, the program coordinator of the NSS cell, Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Chandra Thaledi administered the Fit India oath to all the volunteers, under which all the volunteers took an oath to keep themselves and their families healthy. On this occasion, Dr. Thaledi said that the NSS volunteers can help spread the message of staying healthy in the society, they can also provide its benefits to their family and their neighbors, on this occasion, program coordinator Ram Prakash Tiwari, Shivani Bhadauria along with Dr. Vishal Kumar, Nishant Gaurav, Dr. Satyam Khare, Dr. Sanchit Pradhan, Madhur Sharma, Shikeb Majeed, Shaili Sharma, Pushpendra Rajput, Dr. Abhijeet K. B. Dr. Rahul Sirohi, Dr. Manju Adhikari, Dr. Praveen Chaudhary, Dr. Neha Singh etc. were present.
