The Department of Education at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a grand Freshers’ Party 2025 to warmly welcome the new students of M.Ed., B.El.Ed., and B.Ed. programs. The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Lt. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, extended a heartfelt welcome to all the new students and motivated them with his inspiring words. He familiarized the students with the university’s glorious traditions and wished them a bright and successful future.
Head of the Department of Education, Prof. (Dr.) Indira Singh, also welcomed the newcomers and expressed that under the guidance of experienced teachers, the students would become competent educators and creators of employment opportunities. She urged all students to imbibe the values of education, service, culture, and nationalism.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati, symbolizing the strengthening of the importance of education and cultural heritage within the department. The main highlight of the event was the mesmerizing performances by the freshers. The newcomers showcased their diverse talents through music, dance, and ramp walk, creating an energetic and vibrant atmosphere that reflected their immense potential. Students from B.El.Ed., B.Ed., and M.Ed. gave spectacular dance performances.
The Freshers’ Party turned out to be a lively and memorable event. Riya Balyan from M.Ed. First Semester was crowned Miss Freshers, and Virendra from M.Ed. First Semester was titled Mr. Freshers. From B.El.Ed. First Semester, student Kanishka received the Miss Freshers title, while Aryan Chaudhary was chosen as Mr. Freshers. From B.Ed. First Semester, student Juhi Dixit was crowned Miss Freshers.
The judging panel consisted of Dr. Mumtaz Shaikh and Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Associate Professors from the Department of Education. The excitement reached its peak when all the teachers joined the students on the dance floor, creating a beautiful harmony of joy and togetherness.
The teachers of the Education Department and the Department of Physical Education played an important role in making the event a grand success. The program was coordinated by Dr. Reshu Rani, under whose supervision the entire event was organized. The event was graced by the presence of Lt. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Prof. (Dr.) Indira Singh, and all the faculty members.
