English is a World Language and it is a must for the Hotel Industry. Keeping this in mind, Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management organized a Guest Lecture on “English for Hospitality Industry” on 8th Sept 2022 to let the students of Hotel Management understand the importance of the English Language in the Hotel industry.
The Lecture started at 12:00 Noon with a welcome note by Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, Principal, BCSCHM. The speaker of the session was Ms. Aparna & Mr. Ricardo from EBEK LANGUAGE LABORATORIES PRIVATE LTD
Ms. Aparna explained the basics of the English language with some fun activities. She also discussed the significance of Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking Skills in communication.
Mr.Ricardo presented a well-designed PowerPoint presentation in front of students to discuss the basics of personality development and the ways of improving English Communication Skills. At the end of the presentation, a Q&A session was conducted where students asked questions and cleared their doubts.
After the lecture, Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma thanked Ms. Aparna & Mr. Ricardo for providing time from their busy schedule and also thanked them for such an informative & interesting presentation about the value of the English language in the Hotel Industry. He also thanked the organizing team and students for making this event a grand success.
During the Guest Lecture 54 students, and 9 Faculty members were present.
