DESCRIPTION
A Career counseling session was organized by faculty of Law. The program was coordinated by Dr. Sarika Tyagi. The Resource person Mr. Pranshu Kaushal, Advocate Supreme Court of India discussed the traditional and emerging career avenues in the legal sector, including advocacy, judicial services, corporate legal practice, legal journalism, legal process outsourcing, and NGO’s. Emphasis was laid on the importance of communication skills, drafting abilities, and ethical conduct in the profession. Students were informed about judicial examination patterns, bar council enrolment procedures, and post-graduation options such as LL.M., research, and specialization in international law, IPR, and arbitration. The speaker shared real-life experiences from court practice and corporate law offices to give students practical insights. The session included an interactive Q&A round, where students clarified their doubts regarding internships, higher studies abroad, and preparation strategies for competitive exams. The Career Counselling Session for the Legal Profession proved to be a valuable initiative in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional expectations. It enabled the students to envision their career trajectories in the legal domain with confidence and purpose.
