Guest Lecture on “Financial Literacy”

The Women Empowerment Cell of NBSCFF College, SVSU Meerut successfully organized a guest lecture on Financial Literacy on May 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Amrita Shergil Conference Hall of NBSCFF. The event aimed to empower students and staff members with essential knowledge and tools for managing personal finances.

The event commenced with a warm welcome of the guest, Ms. Nidhi Verma, Senior Manager, Punjab National Bank, Meerut, by the Dean of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, accompanied by esteemed faculty members of the department. As a token of love and appreciation, the guest was honored with a planter and a citation.

The session was meticulously organized by Ms. Abhilasha Garg (Coordinator, Women Empowerment Cell), with valuable assistance from Ms. Monika Verma, member of the Women Empowerment Cell. The lecture focused on enhancing financial awareness, especially among young students, and emphasized the importance of financial independence in today’s fast-paced world.

The interactive session received great appreciation from the attendees, sparking curiosity and motivation among students to take charge of their financial decisions. The Women Empowerment Cell continues to uphold its mission of nurturing confidence and capability among students through such insightful programs.

The lecture concluded with a question-answer round and a detailed discussion with students. The program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Abhilasha Garg (Assistant Professor), who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, for his presence and unwavering support.
