Guest Lecture on Gender Sensitization
The Department of Paramedical Sciences in the collaboration with University Sensitization Cell organized the guest lecture on Bridging the Gap: The Path to Gender Equality in Education and Beyond” for newly admitted all students.The resource person for the said program was Dr.Brahm Kumar Tiwari Associate Professor, School of Allied and Health Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram. The resource person has provided awareness about gender sensitization by giving various examples and by producing the statistical information. He also guided and motivated the students about maintaining Gender Sensitization. After attending the guest lecture on Gender Sensitization, students came to know about gender right is a human right, its extreme and urgent importance in today’s societal scenario. It helped the students to understand need of maintaining gender rights and various ways to promote equality in the society. There was special presence of Dr. Sarika AbhayChairman of University Gender Sensitization Cell.At the last, Dr.Pankaj Kishor Mishra, Head of the Department, proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the program. This program was conducted successfully under the leadership of Dr. Meenakshi Mishra. On this occasion, Dr. Umesh Kumar, Dr. Anshu Kumar Singh, Dr. Ravindra Kumar Manik, Mr. Akash Kumar, Mrs. Hiba, Mr. Rahul, Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Rajput, Mr. Ankit Kumar, Mr. Navdeep Singh, Ms. Zeba Naj, Ms. Shmriri, Mr. Vishant Pal, Mrs. Shivani and Mr. Sanyyam Thakur, were present.
