One-Day Guest Lecture on the insightful The changing face of Contemporary Art’ December 4th 2025.
The Department of Fine Arts, Nandalal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts & Fashion Design, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a thought-provoking One Day Guest Lecture on The changing face of Contemporary Art’ December 5th 2025.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The guest was felicitated with a traditional stole by Dean Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, while the Academic Coordinator Dr. Vandana Tomar honored the guest with a plant sapling. The event Coordinated by Dr. Vandana Tomar ( Academic coordinator, Department of Fine Arts)with the guidance and support of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Sharma, Chief Executive Officer Prof. (Dr.) Shalya Raj, and Dean Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra and Prof(Dr.) Pooja Gupta (Head of Department ).
The distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Vijay .M. Dhore ji National Award Winner Ministry of Education, Government of India Agra,(UP ) delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the profound discussed how contemporary art reflects present-day realities through installation art, digital media, performance art, conceptual art, photography, and mixed-media works. The speaker emphasized how artists today challenge conventional boundaries, engage with social issues, and transform everyday materials into meaningful visual experiences. The lecture saw active participation from students and faculty members. A vibrant interactive session allowed students to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss new artistic possibilities.

A question–answer session allowed students to share views, ask queries, and engage with the theme creatively. the event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks by Dr. Vandana Tomar, Academic Coordinator, and Department expressed heartfelt gratitude to , Dr. Vijay .M. Dhore,ji National Award Winner Ministry of Education, Government of India Agra,(UP ) for his invaluable contribution. The event was a resounding success, marking an important addition to the intellectual and academic activities of the Fine Arts Department .
