Holistic Faculty Development Program: Bridging Tradition with Innovation

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University upholds the motto “Education, Service, Culture, and Nationalism,” reflecting its commitment to holistic student development and aims to cultivate ideal citizens. The University is dedicated to creating exemplary individuals,with the Department of Languages playing a pivotal role in this endeavour. The Department of Languages, established in 2019, is dedicated to studying, teaching, and researching languages and literature. Inspired by a verse from the Rigveda”आनोभद्राक्रतवोयन्तुविश्वतः” (Let noble thoughts come to us from every side), the department emphasizes the value of knowledge in Indian cultural heritage. Language serves as the medium through which this ideal is realized, and the Department of Languages has been exemplary in its efforts toward the teaching and learning of both Indian and foreign languages. The department offers undergraduate courses in Hindi, Sanskrit, and English, as well as postgraduate, pre-Ph.D., and Ph.D. courses in these languages. Additionally, it provides certificate courses in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Pali, and French, designed to enhance the linguistic capabilities of international students.
