Industrial Visit of Students of Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science of Keral Verma Subharti College of Science at Yakult Danone Pvt. Ltd. Sonipat, Haryana
The Department of Chemistry & Forensic Science of Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut organized an industrial visit at Yakult Danone Pvt. Ltd. located in Sonipat, Haryana. All students and faculty members were motivated for attending this industrial visit for experiential learning. All students and faculty members reached to the venue and they were received by Ms. Mehak (Executive Officer) who gave brief profile of the company and the important instructions to follow at the set up. She then delivered a presentation regarding the initial set up of company, manufacturing process, workforce and output capacity. She also described the process of manufacturing and the various safety measures to follow. Ms. Swati (Senior Assistant Manager) then showed the different sections of manufacturing plant by explaining the process of manufacturing. They follow strict measures by maintaining complete contamination free environment without any direct human contact. Total 65 students and 7 faculties attended the industrial visit. Students wish to have more such learning experiences and industrial exposures. The complete event was done by the coordination of all faculty members of department in the supervision of Dr Renu Mavi, HoD of the Department of Chemistry & Forensic Science and Dean of KVSCOS.
