Student Orientation Program on “Importance of Entrepreneurship and Innovation towards Leadership” Through Online Mode

Student Orientation program for guiding the students about Entrepreneurship and showcasing the importance of Innovation and Entrepreneurship which go hand in hand to Develop  Leadership skills.

An online orientation program was organized for the students of the University on the Importance of Entrepreneurship and Innovation towards Leadership in association with IQAC by Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. The event started with the remark from the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University, Major General (Dr.) G.K.Thapliyal has emphasized the importance of Innovation and Entrepreneurship after which Shri Mahesh Kumar Sharma, Assistant Director, Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises discussed the working of MSME and its contribution to the Indian economy. The speaker also gave information about the future and existing entrepreneurs and various innovation-related schemes available for various educational institutions and students which enhanced the knowledge of all.
In the second session of the program, Hon’ble Minister for Vocational Education and Skill Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Kapil Dev Aggarwal apprised the students about the efforts being made on innovation and skill development and the possibilities that lie ahead. Along with this, he also guided the students on how to keep pace with the constant changes taking place in the industry and always keep abreast of technological advancements. Students enthusiastically participated in this program organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IQAC.
Dr. Manoj Kapil, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University and Head of Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the University, thanked the Chief Guest, Keynote Speaker, and all the participants present and congratulated the entire team for making the program a success.

Learning outcomes :
The students were able to learn about the conceptual clarity required for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The students were able to understand various methods and possibilities by which their ideas and work can be recognized by MSME.
The students were able to learn about the various skill development techniques available to work on.
