“INTER-COLLEGIATE TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT”
Sardar Patel Subharti Institute of Law in association with University Sports Committee, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organized a Table- Tennis Tournament during sports week from 14/10/2023 to 19/10/2023. On 16th October 2023 event was organized for both men & women category, in which teams from 08 colleges participated in men & women category from Law, Dental, Physiotherapy, Naturopathy, Physical education, Paramedical, Pharmacy & nursing college. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor S.V.S.U., former justice Prayag raj High Court Sh. Rajesh Chandra, Dean Faculty of Law & President University Sports Committee motivated the students by playing an opening match and encouraged the students and said that for holistic development physical fitness is necessary for all and gives your best and best wishes to all the participants. Out of 34 Participants, the first round of knockout was held and after that in Semi Final matches were held between dental college and physical education, Law and BNYS and after that final match between Dental College and Law College was held and the Final was won by dental college. At the end Winner was Dental College, First runner up was Law College and second runner up was Physical education in men doubles, in women doubles Physical education was winner and Law College was runner up and in single men group winner was Prithvi from Naturopathy college runner was Rohit from Physical education and Abhinav from dental college was second runner up. In single women Dr. Divyanshi was the winner. First runner up was Simran from Physical education and second runner up were Anushka Badli and Subdhi from Physical education. Event was coordinated by Dr. Sarika Tyagi, Associate Professor under the guidance of Dean Faculty of Law, with Technical support by Ms Sonia Rana Expert and his team Nikhil, Vishal and Shyaam etc from physical education worked as an official of the event. Dr. Praveen Singh secretary sports committee, Mr. Atul Tiwari and Mr K. Abhijeet were presented during the event.
