“International Conference on Naturopathy”

On the occasion of the 6th Naturopathy Day with the theme of “Naturopathy in Holistic Health”, CCRYN (Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy) organized an “INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NATUROPATHY” at University of Patanjali, Haridwar from 18th – 19th November 2023.

The conference started with the Inauguration ceremony by Ministry of Ayush secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Swami Ramdev Babaji, Acharya Balkrishna ji & Director of CCRYN Dr. Raghvendra Rao.

Ministry of Ayush Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha congratulated the students, Doctors, and researchers for the celebration of Naturopathy Day. He speaks about the upcoming opportunities of Naturopathy and yoga and how this system is getting recognized by all states.

After that various renowned speakers spoke about the recent advances in the field of naturopathy and yoga, Naturopathy: The Philosophical Basis of the Evidence-based Medical System, Naturopathy: From Philosophy to Science, Role of Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods in Naturopathy at the conference and also shared their clinical evidence of treating patients with yoga and naturopathy.

Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Meerut, Principal & Dean of Faculty of Ayush, Pro Vice Chancellor of Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Dr. Abhay M. Shankaregowda moderated the panel discussion on Yoga and Naturopathy Education: Need for Standardization, Naturopathy in Public Health, Integrating Yoga and Naturopathy departments in AIIMS: Challenges and strategy.

Acharya Balkrishna ji felicitated Dr. Abhay M. Shankaregowda with the memento and Dr. Abhay M. Shankaregowda felicitated all the panel doctors.

The total of 142 PG students and UG students had attended this conference from our college along with two faculty members Dr. Jyoti Madhur & Dr. Abhay Singh.
