One day workshop on “Research Proposal Writing for Funding Agencies” was organized by the Department of Chemistry, Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, for all the Chemistry students of UG and PG under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Renu Mavi. The overview of Research Proposal Writing for Funding Agencies, its initiatives & goals was given by, Dr. Preeti Singh (Assistant Professor), Department of Chemistry, Keral Verma Subharti College of Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
The lecture began with a quick overview of the importance of research proposals and how to approach funding agencies.
The highlights of program were:
- How to approach various funding agencies by writing attractive proposals?
- How to assist organizations in obtaining funding?
- To clarify the important points while writing a research grant proposals.
- To help students by teaching them proper methodology for writing a research grant.
- To give information about various funding agencies such as DST, DBT. CSIR, UGC, ICMR etc.
- To improve their overall fundraising efforts for pursuing research in the field of chemistry.
The workshop on “Research Proposal Writing for Funding Agencies” was very informative. Such events enrich the learning experience and stimulate the expansion of knowledge in the field of chemistry. The workshop was concluded with the vote of thanks.
