INTERNATIONAL DAY OF RADIOLOGY 2024
Department of Paramedical Sciences, Subharti Medical College celebrated International Day of Radiology on 21st & 22nd November 2024 with great enthusiasm and dedication. The event was coordinated by all Radiology faculty and students. The program commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and Sarswati Vandana, featuring the esteemed Guest Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. (Col) Davendra Swarup, Head Department of Radiodiagnosis Dr. Mahesh K. Mittal, Prof. Dr. Mukta Mital, Dr. Sachin Agarwal, Head of Department Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Kishor Mishra, Dr. Umesh Kumar, Dr. Anshu Kumar Singh and Dr. Meenakshi Mishra including the distinguished faculty members. Welcome address and theme unwinding was done by Prof. Dr. Pankaj Kishor Mishra. This ceremonial gesture signified the enlightenment and knowledge radiography brings to the medical field. Pro V. C. Sir enlighten students about history of X-Rays and responsibility of radio technologist and patient safety from radiation. The event continued with heartfelt guest lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh K. Mittal enlighten the students on the theme radiographers seeing the unseen and scope & future job aspects of radiology. Prof. (Dr.) Mukta Mital graces the gathering and motivate the students. Oral presentation was delivered by Dr. Divya Mehta on the topic of advancement in radiology department.
Quiz competition and essay writing competition events was organised on 21st November 2024 and Poster presentation, Reel making competition and Skit (Nukkad Natak) presentation organised on 22nd November 2024. In essay writing competition Vaishali Rawat BRIT 3rd year secured 1st position. Ilma Ali BRIT 3rd Year, Akshay Garg BRIT 2nd Year, Aditi BRIT 1st year secured 1st position in quiz competition. Ekta Singh MRIT 1st year secured 1st position in oral presentation. Chitransh Kaushik, Aamir, and Muhammad Juma BRIT 2nd year students secured 1st position in poster presentation competition. Bilal, Anam Rani, and Mohd. Aakil BRIT 3rd Year secured 1st position in reel making competition.
After all events creativity and knowledge in radiography. Ms. Shmriti delivered a warm vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants for their dedication and hard work in making the event a success.
