Quiz competition On the occasion of 75th Constitution day

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University organized a quiz competition on the occasion of 75th Constitution Day. Students from various departments of the university participated in it with great enthusiasm. The program started with the lighting of lamps. Welcoming everyone, Prof. Sudhir Tyagi, Dean, FASS & Chairman of the Quiz Competition, said that this program is being organized on the occasion of 75th Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India, the purpose of which is to highlight the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution and to increase awareness of constitutional values among students.
Dr. Deshraj Singh, Chairman, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Peeth, who was the part of the jury, said that Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has contributed to the national interest by organizing this special program. Students should gain in-depth knowledge about the Constitution because the Constitution laws give us confidence and freedom, which enables people to become an efficient administrator. At the same time, Dr. Anoj Raj, Head of Department, Faculty of Education said that failure is the key to success; such programs not only increase the knowledge of the students but also make them self-confident. Also, Dr. Manoj Kumar Tripathi, Head of Department, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, while highlighting the various features of the Constitution remarked that the Constitution and law are supreme. The Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution on 26 November 1949, which was implemented on 26 January 1950, since then we all adhere with the constitutional laws.
More than 100 Students from various departments participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition and displayed their talent by answering interesting and informative questions related to the Constitution. The questions of the quiz competition were based on the making of the Constitution of India, its main features, rights and duties, and constitutional institutions. Three rounds were held during the competition, in which BA-LLB student Prakriti won First position while the second position was taken by B.A.Political Science student Atul Kaushik. The third place went to BA-LLB student Shivangi.
Program Convenor and master of ceremony, Dr. Rafat Khanam, successfully conducted the program. Committee members Dr. Amrita Chaudhary, Dr. Aarti Kansal, Dr. Preeti Singh and Dr. Shruti Pokhriyal made a special contribution in making the program successful. On this occasion, Dr. Seema Sharma, Head of Department, Language Department, Dr. Sapna Sharma, Dr. Alpana, Dr. Javed, Swati Sharma, Dr. Nishi and Dr. Ashish Kumar were present. Total 127 students from various departments registered in the program.
