The Department of Physical Education organized an Intramural Basketball Competition on 14 November 2025 at the General Mohan Singh Playground Basketball Court. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership qualities, and physical fitness among the students.
The competition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, who encouraged the students and highlighted the importance of sports for overall development. All faculty members of the department were present to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
For the competition, students were divided into four houses:
- Pratap House
- Shivaji House
- Subhash House
- Azad House
All the houses participated with great enthusiasm and displayed excellent skills, discipline, and team coordination. After a series of exciting matches, Azad House emerged as the Winner of the competition, showcasing outstanding performance and sportsmanship.
At the end of the event, the Chief Guest and faculty members congratulated the winning team and appreciated the efforts of all participants. The event successfully fostered a spirit of healthy competition and enhanced students’ interest in sports and physical activity.
