Intramural Kho-Kho Tournament Thrills Department of Physical Education
Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon the Intramural Incharge ignited the spirit of competition as he proudly announced the commencement of the 6th Intramural Kho-Kho tournament. This highly-anticipated event was meticulously organized by Shivaji House under the expert guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar and Dr. Tusshar D. Alekar , faculty members of the Department of Physical Education. The tournament inaugurated by Dr. Mukul Kumar , Associate Professor (Central Research and Incubation Center) as a Chief Guest of this event.
The tournament witnessed a high level of enthusiasm and participation from all four houses: Shivaji, Pratap, Azad, and Subhash. The spirited matches showcased not only the students’ athletic talents but also their dedication and teamwork.
After a series of intense battles on the court, it was PRATAP House that emerged as the champions, clinching the coveted title and SECOND POSITION SECURED BY Azad House and Third Position had secured by Shivaji House. Their outstanding performance and unwavering determination earned them well-deserved applause from the audience.
Dr. Ankit Singh Jadon, Dr. Praveen Kumar and Dr. Tusshar D. Alekar, Dr. Atul Tiwari, were commended by the Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean Faculty of Education for their efforts in organizing such a successful intramural event that not only promoted healthy competition but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie within the department. The tournament exemplified the importance of physical fitness and sportsmanship, values that the Department of Physical Education continues to uphold.
