Major Dhyan Chand Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Education organized a “Guest Lecture on Specific Judo Techniques”. Dr. Manju Adhikari, Associate Professor Department of Physical Education was the organizer of this guest lecture. This lecture was begun with the address of Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar, Dean Faculty of Education, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.
Dr. Divesh Chaudhary, Associate Professor Department of Physical Education delivered the welcome address and formerly welcomed the resource person Prof. Rajeev Chaudhary, Dean of Student Welfare, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and also highlighted his academic achievements.
Prof. Rajeev Chaudhary taught the different techniques used in Judo such as throwing (Nage Waza), grappling (Katame), and self-defense (Atemi). Students participated with full enthusiasm and learned all these techniques. The total no. of participants was 45 including students and faculty members of the Department of Physical Education, FOE. At the end of the guest lecture, Professor (Dr.) Rajeev Chaudhary was honored by Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar with the moment.
Mr. Arun Vasthav, Assistant Professor Department of Physical Education presented the vote of thanks to Professor (Dr.) Rajeev Chaudhary for sharing his knowledge and thanks to the vice-chancellor of the university, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Shalya Raj, and the Faculty members, and all the participants.
In the guest lecture faculty members, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Deepak Raghav, Dr. Atul Tiwari, Ms. Nisha Saini, and research scholars were also present.
