The Keral Verma Subharti College of Science (KVSCOS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, commemorated the birth anniversary of Kerala Verma Pazhassi Raja with reverence and enthusiasm at the College Atrium today. The College proudly bears the name of this legendary personality, whose life, vision, and ideals continue to inspire generations.
The program commenced with a brief yet insightful introduction highlighting the life, contributions, and significant role of Kerala Verma Pazhassi Raja in India’s freedom movement and the field of education. The address was eloquently delivered by Dr. Dheer Pal Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Life Sciences.
The celebration was sanctified by a holy Hawan ceremony, which infused the atmosphere with spiritual fervor and collective harmony. Addressing the gathering, the Respected Dean, Prof. Dr. Ravinder Kumar Jain, motivated faculty and staff to imbibe and follow the ideals, values, and vision laid down by Kerala Verma Pazhassi Raja.
On this occasion, the Dean of Polytechnic, Dr. S. C. Tiwari, was felicitated by the Dean of Science, adding grace and dignity to the event. This was followed by Pushpanjali, offered as a mark of respect to Kerala Verma Pazhassi Raja, and Prasadam distribution, honoring his memory.
Teaching and non-teaching staff of the College participated wholeheartedly in the celebration, making the event meaningful and memorable. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their presence and support in making the occasion a success.
