Subharti University Hosts ‘Let’s Inspire Bihar’ Cluster Meet

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, hosted a cluster meet for the Bihar Development Summit 2026 – Let’s Inspire Bihar, organized by the university’s Research and Development Cell. Bihar Inspector General of Police and Chief Patron of the campaign, IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav, attended as the Chief Guest, while Indramohan, Chief Coordinator of the campaign, was the Guest of Honour.

IPS Vikas Vaibhav praised Subharti University’s efforts in research, innovation, and its contribution toward Bihar’s development. He formally invited the university to participate in the Bihar Development Summit to be held on 22 January 2026 at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. Emphasizing that Bihar’s development is crucial for achieving the vision of a developed India, he highlighted the campaign’s focus on education, equality, and entrepreneurship.

The programme began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Guests were felicitated by Dr. Vaibhav Goyal Bhartiya, Director of the Research and Development Cell. The event was conducted by student Kumari Varsha from Bihar. Cultural and academic contributions included a Bhojpuri welcome song and presentations on the role of Subharti University and its Bihar-affiliated students and faculty.

IPS Vikas Vaibhav also visited the university’s Idea Laboratory, appreciating its innovation-driven initiatives and stating that Subharti University is playing an important role in shaping a developed Bihar.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vaibhav Goyal Bhartiya, who expressed confidence that the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign would significantly contribute to Bihar’s progress. Faculty members, researchers, and students were present in large numbers, including Bihar students who recently secured first place at the AIU Anveshan 2025 (North Zone).
