The Faculty of Engineering & Technology and Subharti Polytechnic College, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, participated in the launch of Project PRACTICE, organized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on 15th Sept. 2025 (Engineers’ Day) at the AICTE Auditorium, New Delhi. The program was graced by Dr. Vineet Joshi, Secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Education, as Chief Guest, and Dr. R. K. Bhandari, Former Director, CSIR, as Guest of Honour.
Project PRACTICE, developed in collaboration with CRISP, LEAP (IIT Madras), and the Maker Bhavan Foundation, is a landmark initiative aimed at revitalizing technical education. The project will benefit nearly 5 lakh students and 10,000 faculty members across 1,000 rural and underperforming AICTE-approved institutions through faculty development, project-based learning, industry linkages, and innovation.
Dr. Sanjeev Kumar (Head, Mechanical Engineering), along with faculty members Er. Krishna Kumar Sharma, Er. Ajay Choudhary, Er. Amit Gautam, Er. Pankaj Gautam, Er. Sandeep Kumar, and Er. Shubham Tyagi, and more than 40 students, attended the event.
