A lecture by Ms. Shaifali Garg, Assistant Professor, Subharti Law College, was taken on the topic of Constitution of India on the pious occasion of Constitution Day of India. It was organized with the following objectives
1. To create awareness about Indian Constitution,
2. To make students aware of their Constitutional history,
3. To let students be well aware of the machinery that runs the country,
4. To make students vigilant about their fundamental rights along with their Constitutional Rights,
5. To AIM at creating a law-abiding and law acquainted society.
The lecture comprised of the following-
1. An introduction of the Constitution, why do we need a Constitution and why do we need to know all about it.
2. Tracing the framework of the Constitution,
3. A few interesting facts about the Constitution,
4. Features and structure of a Constitution,
5. The Preamble and fundamental rights.
A 10 minutes interactive session was scheduled at the end where students curiously asked their queries.
Beneficiaries- The lecture was attended by around 50 students and all of them took a keen interest in knowing all about their Constitution. The session was an interactive one.
