Anchoring duties were efficiently carried out by Atul Kaushik and Gunjan Chaudhary, who kept the audience engaged throughout the program.

A unique and spiritually uplifting highlight of the Mission Shakti – Celebrating the Girl Child event was the powerful representation of the nine forms of Goddess Durga by students Kainat Khan, Narayani Agrawal, Vanshika Chaudhary, Nabiha, Aaliya, Samriddhi, Anushka, Anamika, and Tendai. These students beautifully embodied the divine feminine spirit with immense grace, dignity, and devotion, paying tribute to the strength and virtues of womanhood.

Each form of Durga symbolizes a vital quality that resonates with the evolving role of women in society:

  1. Shailaputri – Symbol of purity and courage, representing women’s rooted strength and foundational role in family and society.
  2. Brahmacharini – Embodiment of knowledge and discipline, reflecting the importance of education and spiritual growth for girls.
  3. Chandraghanta – Sign of peace and bravery, symbolizing the balance between gentleness and the power to fight injustice.
  4. Kushmanda – Creator of the universe, representing women’s creativity, positivity, and life-giving energy.
  5. Skandamata – The nurturing mother, highlighting a woman’s protective and caring nature.
  6. Katyayani – Fierce warrior, symbolizing a woman’s ability to combat evil and oppression.
  7. Kaalratri – Destroyer of fear and negativity, representing inner strength and the courage to confront darkness.
  8. Mahagauri – Pure and serene, reflecting grace, compassion, and transformation.
  9. Siddhidatri – Bestower of wisdom and success, symbolizing the culmination of feminine power in enlightenment and completeness.

Through this symbolic portrayal, the students not only paid homage to the divine but also conveyed the empowering message that every girl possesses the potential to embody these divine attributes in her own life. The act served as a reminder that women are not only nurturers but also leaders, warriors, creators, and changemakers in every aspect of society.
