“Camera Facing and Stage Poses”

The Department of Fashion and Textile Design at Nandlal Bose Subharti College of Fine Arts and Fashion Design inaugurated a 6-days Workshop on “Camera Facing and Stage Poses” at Satyajit Ray Auditorium on 16th April 2025 by Mr. Kapil Gauhri, International Fashion Show Director and a renowned choreographer. The program was convened under the gracious guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pintu Mishra, Principal/Dean NBSCFF and co-convened by Dr. Neha Singh, HOD, Department of Fashion and Textile Design. The event was attended by Mr. Jatin, Dr. Bhawana Grover, Dr. Vidhi Khandelwal, Dr. Arpana Kamboj, Dr. Rashika, Ms. Anisha Anand, Ms. Abhilasha Garg, Ms. Shailja, Ms. Monika, Ms. Shabnam.
The 6 days workshop started with the lighting of the lamp and was followed by the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Around 80 students from different colleges of Subharti University registered for the workshop on the opening day. The students were briefed by Mr. Kapil Gauhri about stage presence, posing, confidence, and other characteristics to be kept in mind while modeling in front of an audience. The students were also guided on how to walk confidently and gracefully, form different formations and how to occupy and utilize the stage space. The inauguration set the tone for an exciting and transformative experience.
