National Naturopathy Day Celebration

Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences marked the 8th National Naturopathy Day on November 18, 2025, at the Satyajit Ray Auditorium, SIFF College & Naturopathy & Yoga OPD, featuring a variety of academic, cultural, and health-oriented activities designed to raise awareness about Naturopathy, Yoga, and holistic living. 

The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony attended by notable guests, including Director of Rashtrabodh Dr D.C. Saxena, Dean & principal of Faculty of AYUSH Dr Abhay M. Shankaragowda, and Dean & principal of SIFF Mr Pintu Mishra, followed by a welcoming address and a planter presentation for the attendees.

A Free Naturopathy & Yoga Camp was held at the Naturopathy & Yoga OPD, providing comprehensive medical and naturopathy consultations, which included case history assessments, vital evaluations, and tailored lifestyle recommendations for chronic illnesses.

A structured yoga session, which incorporated loosening exercises, asanas, pranayama, and guided relaxation, enabled participants to experience relaxation, enhance flexibility, and reduce stress.

An engaging Nukkad Natak Competition was organised at the Satyajit Ray Auditorium under Dr Simran Malhotra’s coordination, centred around the theme “Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle through Naturopathy & Yoga.” Five teams delivered compelling and awareness-raising street performances.

The Pick and Speak Competition, directed by Dr Anilka Sachdeva and judged by Dr Manisha Luthra, featured active participation from 15 students, each of whom selected a random topic, prepared for 30 seconds, and spoke for one minute.

A creative Reels Competition took place under Dr Yaikhom Monika Chanu’s supervision and was evaluated by Dr. Preeti Singh, with six groups participating on the topic “Role of Lifestyle Modification through Naturopathy and Yoga.” 

Furthermore, a Cooking Without Fire Competition was conducted at the Naturopathy & Yoga IPD at 2:00 PM, where students created nutritious dishes in line with naturopathic dietary guidelines.

A Book Bite Competition was organised at 12: 30 further stimulated academic engagement and holistic learning among students.

Maharishi Aurobindo Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences College successfully hosted a dynamic Medical Quiz Competition on Naturopathy Day, November 18, 2025, at the esteemed Yoga Hall (MASCHNYS). The event was effectively coordinated under the guidance of Dr Juhi Rajput, a faculty member of MASCHNYS. 

The theme of the program revolved around Medical Science, Naturopathy, and Yoga.

Seven groups participated in the medical quiz, which included multiple-choice, rapid-fire, and case-based questions, with each group composed of three members.

All participants excelled in the Medical Quiz Competition, enhancing their knowledge and skills through this competitive format.  The event saw enthusiastic engagement from students, faculty, and guests, creating a motivating atmosphere of learning and awareness.

The Medical Quiz celebration represented a significant effort to reinforce the principles of Naturopathy and Yoga among the youth and the community.

More than 400 students and 22 faculty members attended and participated in the whole event.

Dr Jyoti Madhur coordinated the overall program.

The celebration saw enthusiastic involvement from students, faculty, and guests, fostering an inspiring environment that emphasised natural health, preventive care, and the foundational ideals of naturopathy.

In summary, the Naturopathy Day 2025 program was a remarkable success, promoting awareness, creativity, and a deeper comprehension of holistic wellness among the youth and the community.
