Slogan Making Activity
Raja Kunwar Singh Subharti Department of Library and Information Science, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, successfully organized a Slogan Making Activity under the national campaign theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat – Say Yes to Life.” on November 28, 2025. Seventeen enthusiastic participants actively engaged in this creative event aimed at raising awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free society. The primary objective was to encourage students to express anti-drug messages through impactful slogans, reinforcing the importance of choosing a life free from addiction.
During the activity, students designed vibrant and meaningful slogans, effectively conveying the message against substance abuse. Some slogans included “Desh ko bachana hai Nashe ko Band Karana hai,” “TV cancer ki seedi, band karo yah sigret beedi,” “Thodi Thodi Whisky, Jeevan ke liye hai Risky,” and “Nasha Chhudao Desh ka Yuva Bachao.” Each participant presented their slogans with enthusiasm and explained the inspiration behind their designs, creating an engaging atmosphere that fostered awareness and peer encouragement.
The outcome of the program was significant in spreading awareness among both participants and viewers, helping to strengthen their commitment toward building a drug-free India. This activity not only empowered students to creatively contribute to social causes but also aligned with the broader goals of creating a healthier and addiction-free community.
