On 07 September 2026, to mark National Nutrition Week, Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (MASCHNYS), Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, organised a seminar to raise awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits in LT- 5 of the college from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The program aimed to educate students on the essential role of proper nutrition in promoting health, preventing diseases, and enhancing overall well-being.
The session was delivered by Dr. Gaurav Pathak, Assistant Professor, MASCHNYS, SVSU, who emphasised the significance of consuming a balanced diet rich in essential nutrients. Through an engaging and interactive presentation, participants learned about the consequences of nutritional deficiencies, the value of dietary diversity, adequate hydration, food safety, and healthy lifestyle practices. The session also highlighted practical strategies for adopting sustainable eating habits and preventing lifestyle-related disorders through informed food choices.
27 students actively participated in the seminar. The event was coordinated by Dr. Shruti Baid, Assistant Professor, who ensured the smooth conduct of the program and encouraged participants to incorporate healthy dietary practices into their everyday lives.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to promoting nutrition awareness and fostering healthier lifestyles. The program successfully reinforced the message that balanced nutrition is the cornerstone of a healthy, active, and productive life, inspiring participants to become advocates of healthy eating within their families and communities.
