Inauguration and Guest Honors
The event commenced with a formal inauguration by the Chief Guest, Prof. Pawan Kumar, Dean of the School of Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He was warmly welcomed by Prof. R.K. Jain, Dean of the Faculty of Science at KVSCOS, marking the start of a day dedicated to scientific inquiry.
Expert Insights on Sustainable Energy
A highlight of the program was the keynote lecture delivered by Prof. Pawan Kumar titled “Nuclear Materials for a Sustainable Energy Future.” The session provided 200+ students with critical insights into the role of nuclear science in achieving global energy sustainability, bridging the gap between theoretical physics and real-world applications.
Innovation Showcase: Models and Presentations
The campus buzzed with creativity as students participated in three core categories:
- Exhibition: A display of both working and non-working scientific models.
- Poster Presentations: Visual summaries of complex scientific theories.
- Oral PPT Presentations: Scholarly discussions on modern scientific challenges.
Prof. Shalya Raj, Chief Executive Officer of SVSU, graced the exhibition, personally inspecting the models and posters while extending her best wishes to the budding innovators.
