 NATIONAL VACCINATION DAY 2021

The National Vaccination Day, also called the National Immunization Day, is celebrated every year on March 16 to convey the importance of vaccination to the entire nation. The day was first observed in the year 1995, the year on which India started Pulse Polio Programme. It is a day  to create awareness about the necessity of immunisation against not just the deadly Poliovirus, but every major viral disease that we do not have natural immunity against.

  • On 16th March 2021, Department of Community Health Nursing and Department of Child Health Nursing, Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College, organized National Vaccination Day at Primary school, Village Badla, Khajuri,Meerut UP, Mr.Bhupinder Sharma, Gram Pradhaan,Village Badla,Khajuri, Meerut and Mr.Vidhya Bhushan, Principal, Primary School, Village Badla,Khajuri, Meerut were the guests for the programme who significantly contributed in generating awareness regarding the importance of immunization in a child’s life.
  • Bsc Nursing ,3rd Year Students of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College organized a vaccine awareness programme in the form of NUKKAD NATAK, which was very much appreciated. The parents were very receptive and they understood the importance of vaccination for their childrens.
  • Bhupinder Sharma, Gram Pradhan,Khajuri, Meerut and Mr.Vidhya Bhushan, Principal, Primary School ,Khajuri, Meerut extended their full cooperation and support for the successful completion of the programme. By generating this awareness, sensational programme students and the public know the value of vaccination.
