National Youth Day is celebrated on January 12, every year in India to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest leaders and believers of youth power, maker of modern India.
Adhering to the COVID-19 restrictions, Jyotirao Phule Subharti College of Physiotherapy, celebrated National Youth Day or Yuva Diwas, and organized competitions like essay, speech, poetry etc on Swami Ji life & teachings, 12th January2021, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda ,to inspire the youth generations, the future of the country.
The Theme for year 2021 is “YUVAAH – Utsah Naye Bharat Ka” i.e. “Channelizing Youth Power For Nation Building”.
The event was started by webinar on “Swami Vivekananda & his teachings”. It was conducted by Dr.Jasmine Anandabai (Principal) & Dr.Avnika Singh (Assistant Professor).
Speech was given Dr.Kayinat Hassan (Assistant Professor) on ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
