Nukkad Natak
The Department of Paramedical Sciences in the collaboration with University Gender Sensitization Cell organized the Nukkad Natak on Breaking Chain: Gender inequality and the path to equality on 15th April 2025 at 10:00 am Infront of Chhatrapati Shiva ji Subharti Hospital. By questioning social norms and advocating for a more inclusive and just society, Nukkad Natak seeks to increase awareness of gender disparity and promote gender equality. This play encourages spectators to reconsider their beliefs and welcome change by utilising street theatre to draw attention to issues such as gender discrimination, violence against women, and the need for equal opportunity.
After watching this Nukkad Natak the audience informed about the sexual harassment prevention is a continuous process that calls for dedication, watchfulness, and active participation from every individual within a community or organisation. Sexual harassment can be considerably decreased in a variety of contexts, including public places, workplaces, and educational institutions, by fostering a culture of respect and accountability. Establishing a secure and welcoming atmosphere while offering assistance to individuals impacted by it is essential. The event served as a potent platform for spreading social messages and increasing public awareness of a range of cultural, political, and social concerns that affect the community or society.
