Book reading activity and webinar Report
Teacher’s day, as we all are familiar with, is celebrated on the 5th of September of every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President, politician, scholar, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna recipient, Dr.SarvepalliRadhakrishnan.
On this special day to honor and appreciate the contribution of teachers, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University is observing Shikshakparv from the 5th to the 9th of Sep 2022. In continuation with that, Panna DhaiMaaSubharti Nursing College, Swami VivekanandSubhartiuniversity has organized an Online book reading activity and a webinar.
Dr. IpshitaNath, Writer, Academic, Ph.D. in English Literature and currently she is doing Postdoc research fellow in the area of disease and health care in Colonial India, at the department of history, University of Saskatchewan (suh·skacuah), Canada and DR. RAVINDRA HN, Professor cum Principal at Parul institute of Nursing, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat were the invited speakers on the occasion.
The program was initiated by Dr.GeetaParwanda, Principal and Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University. Madam welcomed the guest speakers and the participants in the event. She highlighted the importance of teacher’s day and thanked the guests and the participants to be a part of today’s event.
Thereafter book reading activity was organized and it was conducted by Dr.IpshitaNath which was followed by a webinar on the topic “Leading in Crises- reimagining the future”. The speaker for the webinar was Dr.Ravindra HN.
In the end, Mr. Sriram K, Assistant professor, in the department of Community Health nursing proposed the vote of thanks. More than50 participants benefitted from the program. Under the headshop of Dr.GeetaParwanda, Principal and Dean, Faculty of Nursing, the program was organized and moderated by associate professor and HOD, Department of Community health nursing, Mrs. Shaheen Akhtar Khan.
