World Food Day lecture at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University

On the occasion of ‘World Food Day’, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut celebrated the event virtually. The Programs were organized by National Service Scheme of the University in association with Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management and Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Department of Home Sciences of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut.

Members who organised the Events were:
1. Dr. Rahul Sirohi, NSS Officer, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut
2. Dr. Shiv Mohan Verma, Bhikaji Cama Subharti College of Hotel Management
3. Dr. Jyoti Gaur, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Department of Home Sciences

This event was based on the theme ‘Anna Devo Bhava’ to spread awareness related to the importance of Food in our life.
Participation in this event was free. Each participant was given an E-Certificate of participation. Best Three participants in each category were awarded an E Certificate of Excellence.

As part of this event, the following events were conducted.

2. Video Challenge- Online Submission

Online Awareness Lecture:
3. E-Lecture organised on ‘Food as Medicine’ by Dr. Abhay M. Shankaregowda, Dean,
