One-Week Management Development Program

Entrepreneurship And Development Cell, Department of Education, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Meerut, successfully conducted a week management development program under Entrepreneurship Skill Development Program (ESDP), organized by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India from 02.February 2026 to 06.February Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma and CEO Subharti University Prof. Dr. Shalya Raj sent her best wishes for the success of the programme. Head of Department Prof. Dr. Indira Singh has encouraged all the students in this program to work on any one small scheme run by MSMEs to improve their future.

Day -1 begin with Dr. Anoj Raj, Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut explained about the Introduction to Industrial Management, as it helps learners understand how industries function as integrated systems involving men, machines, materials, money, and methods. Dr. Raj further expressed that the Knowledge of industrial management develops planning, organizing, directing, and controlling skills essential for effective management. It creates understanding of employer–employee relationships, labor welfare, motivation, and conflict management in industries. In the second session Dr. Raj also said that Understanding industrial management increases employability in manufacturing, service industries, MSMEs, and public sector organizations. The second session begin with Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma(Associate Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Production, Planning & Control, through her lecture Dr. Sharma explained that Proper planning and control increase efficiency and output by coordinating all production activities systematically and it help also in maintaining  a continuous and balanced flow of production by avoiding bottlenecks, delays, and interruptions. At the end Dr. Sharma said that timely delivery of quality products at reasonable cost enhances customer satisfaction and goodwill.

Day-2, Begin with Dr. Mumtaz Sheikh (Associate Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Introduction to Human Resource Management. Dr. Sheikh explained that Human Resource Management helps in understanding a person’s behavior, attitude and motivation in any organizational setting. Efficient human resource management contributes to long-term organizational success and stability. The second session begin with Dr. Roopam Jain Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Performance Appraisal about the topic Dr. Jain explained that the performance appraisal highlights areas where employees excel and where improvement is needed, and further more recognition of good performance motivates employees and improves morale and job satisfaction. This also helps identify training and skill-development requirements for employees.

Day-3 Begin with Dr. Rubi, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Introduction to Marketing Management, Dr. Rubi said that the knowledge of marketing management develops skills related to market research, consumer behavior, and demand analysis. Dr. Rubi explained that It helps organizations understand competitors and develop strategies to gain and sustain competitive advantage, The students showed full interest in information’s provided to them so far. She explained that by focusing on value creation and relationship the management it enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty among the persons. In the second Session Dr. Reeba Devi Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Social Media Marketing by the words that the  Social media marketing boosts lead generation, conversions, and overall business growth. The Regular content sharing increases brand visibility, recognition, and recall among consumers. The programme ended in pleasure some environment by these words.

Day 4- The day begin with Dr. Reshu Rani, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Introduction to Material Management, Dr. Reshu explained in an benefits of the knowledge of Introduction to Material Management, presented in a clear, structured, and exam-oriented way as the Optimum Utilization of Materials helps in proper planning, procurement, storage, and use of materials, reducing wastage and losses .And the knowledge of  material management supports economical purchasing, vendor selection, and negotiations. Dr. Reshu Rani further ended with the words that it reduces losses due to theft, deterioration, obsolescence, and damage during storage and handling In the second session the second session begain with Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma  on the topic Quality Management, the lecture begin with the words that the in a clear, academic, and practical life examples. It also helps identify defects at early stages, reducing wastage, rework, and rejection. Dr. Sharma also explained that the Consistent quality products increase customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty.

Day -5- Begin with Ms, Vaishali Saini Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut on the topic Introduction to Financial Management and explained that how to allocate and use financial resources effectively to avoid wastage and ensure optimum returns. Ms. Saini also told that by a good type financial planning we can assess the knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and for short-term and long-term needs. The second session starts with Dr. Ragini Srivastava Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut, on the topic Inventory Control by the words that by the knowledge of Inventory control we can helps in controlling material costs and overall operational costs. Dr. Srivastava also said that Proper inventory planning helps in effective utilization of warehouse space.

In the end the concluding remarks were given by Dr. Anoj Raj Professor, Department of Education, Faculty of Education, SVSU, Meerut, Dr. Raj highlighted that MSME programme plays a pivotal role in strengthening the economic foundation of the country by promoting entrepreneurship, generating employment. This one week programme provides comprehensive support to the students who so ever are wishing to grab this opportunity of micro, small, and medium enterprises through financial assistance& skill development, overall the MSME programme serves as a strong catalyst for socio-economic development and aligns effectively with national goals of employment generation, poverty reduction, and economic self-sufficiency. The MSME programmes encourage self-reliance, inclusive growth, and sustainable development, particularly by supporting rural and semi-urban enterprises. The Whole programme was coordinated by Dr. Bhuvnesh Sharma (Associate Professor) Department of Education, FoE, SVSU, Meerut, and 30 students and 9 faculty members were benefitted through this programme.
