One Week School Health Camp Program

Department of Community Medicine, Subharti Medical College  of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut were organised a one week school health camps program for the students of Darshan Public school Meerut cantt under the supervision of head of department Dr Bhawana Pant. Prof.( Dr) Pawan Parashar advised all students and their guardians about the benefits of healthy dietary habits, use of green vegetables, fresh fruits,  milk and dairy products.

Dr. Varsha Chaudhary told the students about personal hygiene. She advised regular  exercise such as  walking ,running, dancing, sports and yoga.

Dr. Anuradha Davey told girls students about menstrual hygiene and problems of adolescent girls. Dr. Chhavi Kiran Gupta mentioned the problems of mental stress and solution of the mental health problems. Dr. Monika Gupta,  Dr. Rijul Ranjan has properly examined the students and measured their height, weight , blood pressure,  pulse, eye refraction,  and routine checkups. Dental surgeon Dr. Dharmendra Singh  examined the oral cavity and  dental problems of students and advised proper oral hygiene. Dr. Sartaj Ahmad said that we should avoid commercial food, tobacco consumption and alcohol intake etc. Mr. Farhat Khan, Interns Dr. Bhavya Vijita, Dr. Garima Agarwal,  Dr. Dhawani Mali, Dr. Bhola Ram,  Dr. Karan Tyagi,  Dr. Kaashifa Bashir,  Dr. Jatin Karnani and Dhrishthi Shangle help in the camps. School authority and faculty members Ms Pooja Ratan, Ms Pooja Chauhan, Mr. Prince, Staff nurse Shweta David  were also present in the school health camps.
