ORIENTATION PROGRAM ON “PUNYATITHI OF MAHARISHI AUROBINDO”
An Orientation program on the occasion of “PUNYATITHI OF MAHARISHI AUROBINDO” organized at the Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut for the BNYS & MD students on 5th December 2023 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Yoga Hall of Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut and Coordinated by Dr. Jyoti Madhur
The program opens with a tribute to Maharishi Aurobindo on his 74th birthday, given by Shradhanjali. Dr. Rahul Bansal told the students that Maharishi Aurobindo was a renowned yogi and philosopher who was born in Kolkata on August 15, 1872, and passed away in Pondicherry on December 5, 1950. The Life Divine, which deals with the philosophical aspect of Integral Yoga; and Synthesis of Yoga, which deals with the principles and methods of Integral Yoga, are his two principal literary works.
Maharishi Aurobindo’s death experience was described by Mr. Kuldeep Narayan ji as having a variety of colours of light covering his body, giving it a distinctive and unusual appearance. Everyone then places a flower on the portrait of Maharishi Aurobindo. Total of 142 students were attended and completed successfully.
