Outreach Activity on Community Engagement and Social Responsibility Press Release
Swami Vivekanand Subharti University’s Keral Varma Subharti College of Science organized an outreach activity on community engagement and social responsibility under the ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ of the Ministry of Education, Government of India on 08-05-2023 at village Aranawali, block Rohta, district Meerut. Dr. Renu Mavi, Dean, Keral Varma Subharti College of Science, encouraged all the students and sent the team off.
Through this activity, the students made the children and farmers aware about the importance of trees in human life through street play ‘Tree Conservation’.
Dr. Sunil Kumar provided detailed information to the farmers about crop rotation, seeds of new species and vermi-compost.
Dr. Neha Verma explained the need and importance of self-help groups.
Dr. Vishal Kumar apprised about the new technology used in agriculture.Dr. Dheer Pal Singh told about various government schemes for rural areas. Dr. Ankit Tiwari gave technical information about community involvement and social responsibility. Program coordinator Dr. Shravan Kumar Garg thanked all the villagers.Gram Pradhan Mr. Dharmendra Kumar thanked all the students and all the team members for this important program and expressed his desire to organize this type of program in future also.Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University Gen.
