Quiz Competition on “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue”
A quiz competition has been organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports,Govt of India on “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue” on the initiative of the Prime Minister to involve the youth for National Youth Day-2025. Youth from all over the country are participating in this competition which is being organized online on the MyBharat portal, so that they will get a chance to meet the Hon’ble Prime Minister by participating in the National Youth Festival to be organized in New Delhi on 11-12 January, 2025.
The National Service Scheme(NSS) Cell Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is motivating the students to participate in the quiz by putting up standees at various places in the campus for quiz registration.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Maj. Gen. (Dr.) G.K.Thapliyal addressed the NSS volunteers. He said that Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue is an initiative aimed at motivating the youth of India to contribute to the development of the country and providing them a platform where they can share their views and perspectives.
Gen. Thapliyal said that through this initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, young leaders will discuss the challenges and opportunities in various sectors of the country and contribute to shaping the vision of a developed India. On this occasion, Gen. Thapliyal also took feedback about the quiz from each volunteer and got to know its registration process.
Registrar, Grp. Capt. M. Yakoob said that instructions have been issued to all the departments to ensure that the maximum number of students of the university participate in this quiz and Subharti University will have a strong performance in this program.
Prof. (Dr) Subhash Chandra Thaledi, in-charge of NSS Cell, said on this occasion that youth between 15 to 29 years will be able to participate in this quiz. He said that volunteers from all four units of NSS of the university are participating in this quiz and also motivating other students to participate in the quiz. Dr. Thaledi said that in the first phase, registration for the quiz can be done till 5th December. The youth who are successful in the quiz will have to write an article of 1000 words on any one of the ten given subjects. In this, the selected youth will be given time to present their views before the Prime Minister on the occasion of National Youth Day-2025. The Prime Minister himself will also discuss with such youth. There is excitement among the youth that they will get a chance to meet the Hon’ble Prime Minister directly.
On this occasion, Dr. Vishal Kumar, Shivani Bhadouriya, Dr. Preeti Singh, Dr. Amrita Chaudhary, Shelly Sharma, Shikeb Majeed, NSS brand ambassadors Vidya Mishra, Sudarshani Raturi, Anushka Solanki and Amit Kumar were present.
