The Women Empowerment Committee of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education, organised an empowering Rally titled “Naari Ek Shakti, Naari Ek Pehchaan” on Friday. A total of 236 female students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff enthusiastically participated in the event.
The rally commenced with energetic slogans promoting women’s dignity and strength, including “Ek Naari Sab Par Bhaari,” “Naari Ko Do Samman, Tabhi Desh Banega Mahaaan,” and “Jab Naari Mein Shakti Hogi, Tabhi Desh Ki Unnati Hogi.” Participants marched across the university campus advocating awareness of women’s rights, safety, and empowerment.
Women Empowerment Committee members Dr. Rafat and Dr. Aruna actively joined the rally, motivating students throughout the March. Women Empowerment Committee President Dr. Anshul addressed the gathering and informed participants about essential helpline numbers and safety measures under Mission Shakti 5.0, encouraging women to stand confident and empowered.
The event received prestigious support from CEO Professor Dr. Shalya Raj and the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Pramod Sharma, who extended their blessings and appreciated the collective effort of the university in promoting women empowerment.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Manju Adhikari, Secretary of the Women Empowerment Committee, acknowledging the contribution of all participants, faculty members, and organisers. The rally marked a successful step toward fostering awareness, confidence, and unity among women within the university community.
