Report on Rani Durgawati Day

The Student Nurses Association (SNA) Club of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College (PDMSNC) organized Rani Durgawati Day on 24 June 2026 at LT-1, PDMSNC with great enthusiasm. The program was conducted to honor the bravery, sacrifice, and leadership of the great warrior queen, Rani Durgawati. Students from PDMSNC, BNYS College, and the Language Department actively participated in the event and made the celebration a grand success.

To mark the occasion, a Poem Competition and a Ragini Competition were organized. The competitions provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, literary talent, and cultural skills. A total of 21 participants enthusiastically took part in the competitions. The participants presented poems and performances highlighting the life, courage, and achievements of Rani Durgawati. The competitions were judged by Dr. Seema, Head of the Department of Language, for the Poem Competition and Mrs. Nishi Chauhan, Fine Arts Department, for the Ragini Competition. The audience highly appreciated the confidence, enthusiasm, and talent displayed by all the participants, making the event engaging and memorable.

In the Poem Competition, Ms. Bhumi from the Language Department secured the First Position. Ms. Ananya Trivedi of BNYS 2nd Year won the Second Position, while the Third Position was jointly secured by Ms. Divya Pandey of B.Sc. Nursing 2nd Semester, PDMSNC, and Ms. Nistha Chauhan of BNYS 1st Year. In the Ragini Competition, Mr. Anubhav, M.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year, PDMSNC, secured the First Position with an excellent performance that was highly appreciated by the audience.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members and created an atmosphere of learning, cultural appreciation, and healthy competition. Through such activities, the SNA Club continues to encourage students to develop their communication skills, confidence, creativity, and understanding of Indian culture. The program concluded successfully with appreciation for all participants and organizers. The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to Rani Durgawati and inspired students to follow the values of courage, leadership, dedication, and service to society.
