Yoga Session Organized at Subharti Dental College and Hospital on the Occasion of International Yoga Day
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College and Hospital of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences organized a Yoga Session at Subharti Dental College and Hospital on 20th June 2026 from 11:00 AM onwards.
The session was conducted by Dr. Archana Anilkumar, Assistant Professor, under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” The program emphasized the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and healthy ageing through regular practice. Participants were enlightened about various yogic practices that help enhance flexibility, balance, stress management, and overall quality of life.
The session was supported by Dr. Abhirami and Dr. Intisab (JR1), who actively assisted in conducting the activities and guiding the participants throughout the program.
A large number of first-year dental students and interns enthusiastically participated in the session and benefited from the practical demonstrations and valuable insights shared. The program successfully promoted awareness about the significance of yoga as a holistic approach to maintaining health and wellness.
The session concluded with positive feedback from the participants, reinforcing the message of adopting yoga as a part of daily life for a healthier and happier future.
