VANSHIKA SAINI (BJMC 2016-19, GSVSCJMC)
Ms. Vanshika Saini, an alumna of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Subharti College of Journalism & Mass Communication is serenading Meerut with her public speaking skills as a Radio Jockey at Radio Nageen 107.8 FM, Meerut’s first live community radio station. She goes by the alias RJ VANSHI on the radio.
One of her show YAADON KA SAFAR, which is based on the 90’s traditions and customs is ruling over the hearts of people. The show transcends you to the evergreen hits of the ’90s. RJ Vanshi is the voice behind MOON DRIVE and weekend Special SEHAT K DO PAL, covering interviews of experienced Doctors.
RJ Vanshi, while pursuing her course at Subharti University was always active with her participation in the creative projects and college activities. She took part in scriptwriting, event management, acting, anchoring, audio and video editing during her studies. Her dream of becoming a radio jockey since her college years has come true, today.
Along with radio jockeying, she is also managing a news portal named YUVA BHARAT SAMACHAR with her seniors and classmates at Subharti University. She has also scripted various street plays during her college days and worked professionally with R-tech productions.
She created two short films in her college days and was awarded for the same at different platforms while pursuing her course.
· Awarded 1st Prize in online short film contest at NISCORT TARANG MEDIA FEST 2019.
· Awarded 1st Prize for RJ HUNT at NISCORT TARANG MEDIA FEST 2019.
· Awarded 2nd Prize for the short movie named Complex inferiority in JIMS Filmotsav cinematic screen 2K18, National Film Festival.
· Scripted for the ONGC, which was selected later and performed the same street play with the team at ONGC only on the occasion of National Safety Week.
