Report of Science Exhibition on National Science Day
On 28 Feb 2024, Department of Education, FOE, Swami Vivekanand, Subharti University organized a science exhibition on the occasion of National Science Day. Event started with the lighting of lamp in front of Maa Saraswati. The exhibition started at 10:30 a.m. and was open to all students of the department. Judges of the event were Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma (HOD) and Dr. Ekta Gupta (Asst. Prof.) faculty of (Physics) Science. As the exhibition started, various students presented their projects. Models of solar power energy, space satellites, hydroelectric generators, AC and DC motors, automatic transformers etc were displayed by the students. Dean Prof (Dr) Sandeep Chaudhary, along with the Judges, assessed all the models designed by the students. Students also gave visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their working models. The HOD Prof (Dr.) Anoj Raj conveyed best wishes for the exhibition.Prof (Dr.) Indira Singh gave a speech on the importance of the contributions of the young generations to the field of science and technology. At the end of the exhibition, upon careful inspection of the different models and projects. First position was won by Model No 09 Solar Panel B.Ed 4 sem students, Second position was won by Model no 14 Acid Rain B.El Ed 6 sem, and Third position was won by Model No 13 Light Fidility B. El. Ed. 6 sem. Everyone who participated in the exhibition were given certificates for their excellent efforts. The exhibition ended with the speech delivered by the Dean, FOE extending his gratitude to Judges and congratulating all the students who participated in the exhibition. Mr.Sanjeev Kumar (Asst Prof), Dr Mumtaz Sheikh (Asst Prof), Dr.Roopam Jain (Asst. Prof), Mr.Rahul Kumar (Lecturer) coordinated the event .All the faculty members of Department of Education were present in the Science Exhibition.
